We captured Cocoa in May. He is a male about four years old. He weighs 8.2 kilograms and was in good condition when we affixed a collar. Cocoa's movements overlap with those of Namchaa, O-liang and maybe other cats. The high density of cats in and around Cocoa's home range may be due to the active fish farming that takes place there--although the fish farmers that we work with don't seem to regard fishing cats as a major threat to their business.
